A brief introduction to what Backflow is.
Backflow assemblies are like one-way doors. They protect our drinking water from contaminants that may be present in various water systems. They permit the flow of water through and into the system but in the event of low supply pressure they hold water static preventing it from re-entering the drinking water system.
The state of Oregon mandates that backflow assemblies be tested annually to ensure they will work if needed.
We test residential and commercial backflow assemblies in the greater Portland Oregon metro area.
Backflow Prevention Device Testing Inc. will give you courteous and competent service at competitive rates.
We have serviced clients in the greater Portland area since 1995. BPDT works hard to provide the best service for our clients and our reviews prove it. Please get in touch today to receive a quote.
We happily conform to the State of Oregon's requirement that the testing company submit results of each Backflow test.
Many Oregon water purveyors require electronic submission of test results and would have assigned a TRAC number or location code. You can find this information on the request for testing sent to you by the water district. Please share this with your testing company so they can submit your results.
